Jayson Lovell

Jayson is Superintendent of Schools for Wolf Creek Public Schools and has a long-standing connection to the Division and Central Alberta. He began his career in Lacombe, Alberta as a teacher before moving into an assistant principal role five years later, then within a year as principal. Before becoming assistant superintendent of People Services in 2007, Jayson was hired at the Division office in a district principal role.

With over 26 years of experience, Jayson holds a diploma in Criminology from Mount Royal College, a Bachelor of Education from Canadian University College (now Burman University), and a Master of Education with focus in curriculum and instruction from the University of Alberta. He is a distinctive and well respected leader with a wealth of knowledge, experience and foresight that has moved Wolf Creek Public Schools forward using a collaborative, people-centered approach.

During his tenure with Wolf Creek he has been very active in leadership initiatives at the Division level and is most proud of being able to have built upon the level of leadership and trust.
